They were so very helpful with recommendations of activities in and around knysna as well as places to dine for the evening. The place was immaculate - they have thought of every detail. From catered breakfasts on the patio in the morning with the most amazing view, to thoughtful touches in our room (champagne for our honeymoon!) Dom and Hans went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. Do not miss staying here when you are in knysna - a short drive to all the best places in town - most importantly - amazing sunsets and the feeling of being in a place surrounded with so much beauty, thoughtfulness and love. We loved de View!

Amazing view, very friendly host and staff with awesome service, delicious breakfast (and very cool mode where you can order your favorite breakfast combinations on the evening before), everything very new and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and even extended because it was so nice.

Situated high up on the ridge, Strode House offers magnificent views of the Knysna lagoon, the famous Knysna Heads, forests and Outiniqua Mountain Range. It features a private pool with hot tub. An oasis in the City. Clean, huge, open spaces. The jacuzzi was a nice extra. Only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer! Quiet, incredible views, yet just a very short drive to the City & waterfront. Excellent WiFi. My husband loved the pool table. It’s a place that we will definitely return to once we’ve moved to South Africa one day. It has a feeling of Zen from the minute you walk in the front door.

Overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, Paradise Found is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac and 2 km away from the centre of Knsyna and the Waterfront. The view is absolutely incredible,you get to see the town and the lagoon,very clean and neat place,everything was great,special the breakfast on the terrace,the hospitality and friendly welcome from the hosts Johan and his wife was a bonus.we highly recommend

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. This hotel is located in an old mansion, and it felt like we were staying in a piece of living history. The period details were stunning! We stayed in one of the Suites with a Lagoon View and I can’t recommend it enough. Our room was on the second floor with a huge wraparound balcony (connecting to all the other rooms on the floor but with a small fence separating each) and a gorgeous view of the Knysna waterfront. In addition to a spacious room with a view, the bathroom was also amazing. The rain shower was by far the best of the trip, and I wish we’d had a chance to have a bath in the clawfoot tub. We loved wandering around the hotel and grounds, just taking everything in. At night, there is a little bar in a room off the hotel’s foyer and it was so cool to enjoy a drink while looking at old black-and-white photos of the family who used to live in the house. I also really enjoyed our breakfast, which is served in another gorgeous room with carved ceilings and an old fireplace, and which includes both a cold buffet and a made-to-order hot meal.

Double Dutch offers bed and breakfast in Knysna and views over the Knysna lagoon. Set in extensive garden, it boasts an outdoor swimming pool. Owners were amazing, very hospitable. Pool views and breakfast were great, as was the location.

Cambalala is a luxury guest house ideally situated in Paradise with magnificent views over the Knysna lagoon. The beautiful location makes this an ideal place to visit the garden route. Even better the hosts are wonderful, like family. Food all freshly prepared. Rooms are stylish and spacious. Secure off road parking. Could not have been better if they tried
