Facing the beachfront, Gugulesizwe Camp has a bar and a garden. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Gugulesziwe Camp was like paradise for us! The staff was amazingly kind and obliging, the food so fresh and delicious. The whole camp let’s you forget about any worries with the roomy, neat cottages in the middle of nowhere, whilst the wild nature around you is just stunning. We can highly recommend to choose the camp, we‘ll come back for sure.

We did a very nice game drive and fishing trip by boat and almost for the first time saw so many animals from the water. This is the house (Villa Superior) with the best view of the Pongola Lake in all of South Africa. And the villa itself is very beautiful and built from the best materials.

Everything was simply perfect. After driving through dense forest down a 4x4 track we knew we had arrived in a special place when we were given a warm welcome by the team waiting for us at the reception entrance as we drove up. We were bowled over by the beautiful setting and the luxurious but natural and understated finish of the resort. It is in harmony with the surroundings! The service was world class and even we arrived later than expected a superb lunch was served. Then we were taken to our lodgings which again left us stunned as they were so beautiful. Matthew and the team are doing a fabulous job. They stopped at nothing to make our stay very special. It was a graduation holiday for our daughter and at the first evening dinner a wonderful celebration cake was served. On our last morning we were treated to breakfast on the beach. Nestled in a protected wildlife reserve, Tembe Elephant Park Lodge provides family-friendly tented accommodation in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. Meals were excellent and the staff was very welcoming. Our guide was great and even took us out an extra time to see the elephants. Loved the sundowners and the morning coffee stops on the game drives. The tents are secluded and quiet. Great for sleeping.

The staff made great effort to make our honeymoon exceptional and extra spesial. The place turned out to be better than the photographs. Food was exceptional and we loved our snorkeling experience. Everything was amazing.
