Lush, green gardens and comfortable accommodation await guests at this hotel, conveniently located halfway between Cape Town and the Garden Route, in the town of Montagu. *The Art Deco theme of the hotel was well considered and all the public areas were beautiful (the main dining room and sitting room in particular). *Secure parking and great WiFi in all areas. *The staff were all unfailing friendly and helpful. Service in the bar and at dinner was superb, and reception were very engaging. *Our room was Art Deco themed and was well appointed and comfortable. Fantastic views of the mountains from the large bedroom windows (but surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night).Air con worked well, there was a large fridge, and the bed was comfy. *The pool area was a treat in the Montagu heat. There were plenty of loungers and pool towels were provided. The garden was very nicely landscaped, and it didn't feel like a town centre location at all. *Lunch in the Feathers and Flatcaps was tasty and relaxed with an extensive drinks list (always a bonus). The evening mea (2 or 3 course set menu) was a smarter affair in the main restaurant and was superb, both in terms of quality and price. Breakfast was good, with the highlight being the excellent cheese and meat selection. The cooked options were just ok, and we would probably just stick to the delicious continental next time.

Superb location. Great room spacious and comfortable with everything needed. Great value. Loved the wine bar attached to the hotel. Easy access good communication and big secure gated parking area.

Harmonie Farm Cottages, a property with a garden, is located in Montagu, 18 km from Montagu Golf Club, 21 km from Hick's Art Gallery, as well as 43 km from Bonnievale Golf Club. Wonderful comfortable farm house with enough space for my family to enjoy. Lovely views, peace and quiet, surrounded by lots of nature. Hosts were fantastic and made us feel very welcome with added little personal touches Close to hot mineral springs, walks, and lots of wine farms for a day trip.

Set within 1.4 km of Hick's Art Gallery and 3.9 km of Montagu Golf Club in Montagu, Jus Limin offers accommodation with seating area. A stunning location. The rooms face the mountains and overlook a small copse of olive trees (I think). Very picturesque! Walking distance to nearby restaurants, plenty to choose from. Kai contacted us about 10 days prior to check-in to suggest places for dinner and then made a booking for us. Very grateful for this as all the restaurants were fully booked for dinner by the time we arrived. Breakfast places weren't a problem.

Roodekloof is a recently renovated apartment in Montagu, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The dogs, the views, the location in the middle of a beautiful valley between the mountains…!
